Local favourite Dani Pedrosa got the hole-shot into turn1, and that was it, he was'nt seen again as he handed out a demonstration on how to lap the Catalunya circuit enroute to winning the MotoGP Grand Prix in Spain for his second victory of the season.The 22-year-old Honda rider got off to a flying start as he passed pole-position holder and world champion Casey Stoner before the first bend. He set a circuit record on the second lap gave the fans their first win by a Spainish rider since Alex Criville.
