Bafana Bafana het die veld aan die brand gespeel in hulle 3-2 oorwinning oor Cameroon. Teko Modise het uitgeblink met twee doele, maar hy't ook 'n strafskop gemis. Cameroon het goed teruggekom, maar Bernard Parker het weerens die wenner aangeteken.

After the match a furious Cameroon coach Otto Pfister publicly blamed SAFA for not organising travel arrangements for his three star players Eto'o, Song and Geremi. SAFA has hit back saying the players simply failed to check-in for their flights.

In other FIFA friendlies, Brazil thrashed Portugal 6-2 at the Estadio Bezerrao of Brasilia only a few hours ago. England beat Germany 2-1 thanks to a late winner from John Terry last night. Diego Maradona won his first match in charge of Argentina with a 1-0 win over Scotland.

Graeme Smith is building another massive innings in the first test against Bangladesh in Bloemfontein. He'll resume on 138 when the Proteas resume ! on 299 for 1 on day two this morning. Hashim Amla also got a ton and is 103 not out. Neil McKenzie scored a patient 42.
