Swimming news from Germany is that Capetonian Sarah Poewe has just set a new European record for the 100m breaststroke at the German Olympic trials.Sarah won both the 100 and 200m breastroke events at the trials, and has been selected for the German Olympic team in both events. Her 100m time was the 4th fastest in the world this year.
